Principal's Message
It’s my third year at Ada S. Nelson Elemetary School and every year seems better than the last. We here at Nelson have enjoyed a wonderful group of students, academic success and new this year an opportunity to keep our 6th graders.
Although we have taken steps to make our campus more secure, we do welcome our parents to come and participate, in school meetings, organizations and councils or just in the classroom.
At Nelson, there is a strong sense of community, and we invite each staff member, each students and each family member to become a member of our family.
This year we will strive to achieve another year of academic excellence, providing life lessons for our students. We realize we not only teach students reading and math, but also the values and character traits that will assist them in becoming well-rounded adults and productive members of society. We thank our parents for their support toward this goal.
